So I'm a little slow on the Halloween post, but..... it was worth the wait right?

Edward

I recently posted a FACEBOOK status update about being excited about NEW MOON that's coming out in... oh 20 days or so. SWEEEEEEET!! And it spurred a discussion about how Robert Pattinson isn't hot enough to be Edward and what actor should be Edward.
(Tangent -->Let me just say this: although Rob isn't what I picture Edward to look like, after watching the movie I totally thought it worked. It bugged me a little at first, but it doesn't anymore. My trick is to think of the books and the movies as two really similar but separate entities. That way it doesn't bug me when the movie doesn't follow the book or the characters don't look like I think they should. I really liked the Twilight movie.)
So I've been trying to think of what actor I would have as Edward. Last night we were watching "The Count of Monte Cristo." (way good flick) And the son in that show has a totally gorgeous perfect Edward face. So I googled Henry Cavill and this is what I found:
I know RIGHT? Maybe this isn't what you think Edward looks like. He should probably have a little lighter hair color at least. But if you don't think this guy is good looking then......uhhhhhhhh okay. The problem is that I think this guy's a little too old to play Edward now. Not sure. There were some other pics that make him look a lot older than this, so I don't know. In at least this picture, he's just right in my mind.
So then, I remembered seeing a picture of someone's version of Edward in one of my friend's facebook applications like a year and a half ago that I thought was just right too. So I looked it up too see what THAT guy looked like, and I found this:
Uhhh..... it's the SAME GUY! What the heck?? I'm not even playing. I totally didn't remember what the guy in this picture looked like. WHAT ARE THE ODDS?

So I don't want to start a heated debate or anything, but I would like opinions. Do you like Rob as Edward? Are you like me and don't think Rob is beautiful enough, but thought it worked after you watched the movie a few times? Do you think this guy is a better Edward? Does this guy look at all like YOU pictured Edward?
And now I'm really in the mood to watch Twilight, which is perfect for Halloween cause it's vampires right? Only problem is that I don't own it. boo.

A fun weekend

Now that it's almost another weekend, I'm documenting last weekend. Mikayla had so much fun with my mom's little microwave cabinet thing. She played with it a lot. She also had some really cute piggy tails on Saturday and Sunday. She looks like such a big girl with her hair like that.

I thought we escaped without picking up the bugs that everyone had, but she started getting sick yesterday afternoonish and woke up a bunch last night. Today she has been feeling yucky. It's not great. I just hope me and Buck don't get it.

LEAVES!!!!

We have lots in the quad at our complex. She loves them. It's cute to see her walk through them and make as much noise as possible by dragging her feet. I love it.

Pull up a chair... or a head?

She likes to make herself comfortable on her Dad's head if he's on the ground. I find it quite funny.

Fun with Quackers

There is a duck pond on campus here at BYU. We went to feed the ducks some bread, and Mikayla had a blast. She was so excited about the ducks. She would sit right down in the middle of them and then get up and follow them around. It was quite entertaining.
